What this site collects

The version published October 26, 2026.

This is the current version. Read it on the privacy page.

If the site starts collecting anything new, this page will say so first, with the date.

The site

I don't put cookies, analytics or tracking on this site, and it has no forms. Its fonts and images are served from this site, so loading a page doesn't send your address to anyone but the host.

Like any website, it runs on a hosting service, Microsoft Azure, which handles your browser's request for each page. Azure may log technical details such as your IP address, and may use its own cookies, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. I don't use any of that to identify anyone.

I look at the host's total request counts to see how much traffic the site gets. They don't include anything about who visited.

If you email me

I get what you send: your name, your email address and whatever you write. I use it to reply and, if we work together, to do the work. I don't sell it, share it or add you to a mailing list. It's stored with my email provider. Ask and I'll delete it, unless I need to keep a record of paid work for tax purposes.

Booking and payment

Booking is by email for now. When a booking tool or payment service is added, this page will say which one and what it receives before it's used.

Links to other sites

Links to LinkedIn, GitHub and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Every version of this page

Each version stays here as it was published, with what changed and why.

  1. October 26, 2026 Current

What changed. Added that I look at the host’s total request counts, and that they don’t include anything about who visited. Added this history.

Why. Nothing new is collected. Azure already counted requests to deliver the site. I started looking at those totals to see how much traffic the site gets, and the page should say so, even though they can’t identify anyone.

  2. October 26, 2026

What changed. The first published version, written on October 24, 2026.

Why. The site went live, and it said what the site collects from the first day.
