The situation
You know it’s worth building. Now someone has to build it.
The Reality Check found the process and said it was worth automating. The usual next step is a tool someone sells you, or a developer who builds it and leaves.
Either way, nobody on your side knows how it works, and the first time the work changes, it stops fitting.
The Guided Build is the other way: your own people build it, with me in the room, so they can keep it working.
The difference
How it’s different
-
Built by your people, with me
Not handed over in a box. The people who built it are the people who can change it when the work changes.
-
On the process we already looked at
No discovery phase to pay for. The Reality Check already found the process and said it was worth building.
-
With the cost and the limits attached
You know what it costs each time it runs, and where it fails, before you rely on it.
The schedule
The six weeks
| When | Session | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | 1 · Map it | We write the process down step by step, decide what the agent does and what stays with a person, and settle where the data goes. |
| Week 2 | 2 · Build it | Your people build the first version with me in the session, and run it on real examples before we finish. |
| Weeks 2–5 | Between sessions | Your people run it on real work. I review what comes back, by email, and say what to change. |
| Week 6 | 3 · Make it hold | We check its output against how a person does it now, fix what fails, and hand it over. |
Three 90-minute sessions, remote. Bring the person who does the process to all three.
What you get
What you leave with
-
A working agent
Running on your real work, not a demo on made-up data.
-
People who can change it
Up to three of your own, who built it and know how it works.
-
What it costs to run
Per run and per month, at your volume, worked out before you rely on it.
-
A one-page runbook
What it does, what it doesn’t, how it fails, and who to ask when it does.
-
Where your data goes
A written description, for whoever needs to approve it.
No fine print
The guarantee
The guarantee
It runs on your real work in six weeks, or you don’t pay.
What “runs” means. It completes the task on your real work, on its own, at least once, and your people judge the output usable.
What I need from you. Up to three people at the three sessions, and access to the process and its real data. If that isn’t happening, I’ll say so at the time, not at the end.
What happens if it doesn’t run. You don’t pay.
Fit
Who this is for
This is for you if
- You've had a Reality Check and the answer was that the process is worth building.
- You can give up to three people about six hours over six weeks, including the person who does the process.
- You want your own people able to run and change it, not a tool you depend on me for.
This is not for you if
- You want it built and handed over without your people involved. I can do that too. Ask me
- The process needs data that can’t leave your systems and there’s no way yet to run it on your own machines. We find that out in the Reality Check.
Before you start
Questions
Do I need a Reality Check first?
Yes. It's free, it takes forty-five minutes, and it's how we both know the process is worth building before you spend anything. About the Reality Check
Why isn’t the price on this page?
It’s a fixed price, agreed before any work starts. I tell you roughly what it is in the first five minutes of the Reality Check, and quote it in writing after, once I’ve seen the process.
How much of my people’s time does it take?
Three 90-minute sessions, plus running it on real work between them. About six hours each over six weeks.
Does it need a particular AI provider?
No. What it’s built on depends on what you already use and what your data allows. We settle that in the first session, before anything is built.
What happens after the six weeks?
It’s yours. If you want help later, I can reserve hours by the month. If more of your work is worth building, the next one goes faster, because your people have done it once.
Is it in person or remote?
Remote, by video. In person is possible if you are nearby.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes, gladly, or you can use mine. Everything is confidential by default and nothing gets described publicly without your written yes.
